Updates to Static Discharge and Ruin

With the recent updates to Static Discharge and Ruin, the Beta Season will now be using the legacy versions of these maps as default, but players can agree to use the updated versions as a variant. Since either player may unconditionally veto any version of a map other than the default or the performance version, nobody is required to learn the new versions of Static Discharge or Ruin for this season.

Scheduling Extension

Apparently a lot of users are finding the scheduling system clunky and overcomplicated. All rounds have been extended by a week to give me time to sort this out. As has been stated elsewhere, since the season clashes with the winter holiday period, you'll generally be granted permission if you need to schedule a match before or after the round. Any games that have already been scheduled can be played, but the autoscheduler won't schedule games during this week unless there is a mutually shared suggestion. Please do continue to schedule, though - continued feedback is helpful.

Beta Season has started!

You can now start scheduling your games for the beta season. The scheduler won't currently work in Firefox due to lack of HTML5 support, so Google Chrome is recommended.

I'd like to thank Linden from Swiftnode who has very kindly provided us with loads of NA servers, and a few extra EU ones as well. If you're looking for a Reflex server of your own (or for various other games) head to swiftnode.net and check them out! When they're not password-protected, it means they're not booked for a match, so anyone is allowed to use them for practice.

Beta Season: Scheduling Soon

Scheduling will open on Sunday 6th November at some point in the afternoon. I was badly delayed sorting out the divisions because of problems with the ruleset yesterday, and this ended up delaying the final things that had to be done before I can start the season. The ruleset is now locked, so you can start getting practice in on the various League test servers.

Please let me know if there are any last-minute issues with the divisions, otherwise they can be considered to be final.

Beta Season: Provisional Divisions

Provisional divisions are now publicly available for all four regions! Check out the new Divisions tab once you've selected a region on the dropdown on the competition page. Some of them (particularly NA) aren't quite finished; please feel free to comment here or send me a message on Discord if you can help with placing the last few people, or if you think that someone should be moved.
